NEWS - Puppies born July 24th - 4 males and 4 females!!

I guess Lola was listening when we whispered the breakdown we wanted in her ear! And what a great mom she is being - the instinct just kicked in and I felt like I was in the way. But, isn't that what we want from our bitches - easy whelpers, good moms, good milk. We have put weekly photos up on an online photo album - they are growing in leaps and bounds - take a peak!

We had the ex-rays done on the 18th and counted 8 skulls and 8 spines - certainly looks like she swallowed a box of springs, doesn't it?! Technology is wonderful, isn't it?

With this news, I am putting together litter information for serious inquiries. Please email me with your inquiries. To help me better understand what you want in a Belgian, it is advisable to download the prospective owner questionaire (you may select from several formats for your convenience, PDF, MSWord 2003, or an RTF format). Please return the completed version with your inquiry, it helps me know what type of Terv you are looking for and helps me to understand your family dynamics. If you are close enough to drive to visit with the puppies and myself, I will expect you to meet with you before you can pick up a puppy. Part of my philosophy is that you are not just getting a puppy, you are also getting a breeder for the life of your dog. If this seems too complicated for you, I suggest you work with another breeder. My puppies are important to me, and will remain important till the day they (hopefully) die of old age.

The last several litters have been very successful and healthy, so after carefully considering combinations that I feel will continue with this type of success, I am very excited about the X litter with Lola and Cash and the potential for sound, balanced show and performance puppies. I breed for a moderate and biddable dog from lines I am very famliar and comfortable with. I only breed combinations that I would personally live with and work with in a performance venue, or that I would be proud to walk into a show ring with.

I am a member of the American Belgian Tervuren Club, on the ABTC Breeder Referral list, an ABTC Mentor with the Judge's Education Committee, and a member of several local Tervuren clubs, a Durham kennel club member and a DKC obedience instructor. All of our referred litters are from members of the American Belgian Tervuren Club that adhere to the ABTC code of ethics. I hope soon to have a dog resume up for everyone so you can see my experience and involvement in dogs over the last 35 years.
